100 - THE "WHITE MOUSE" THAT ROARED | Nancy Wake (Allied Spy) | WWII

The German Gestapo were closing in. She felt her heart pounding in her chest.

The Allied spy Nancy Wake crouched in the darkness, listening to the sound of boots shambling through the French countryside. There was not much time…

Nancy Grace Wake would become one of the most decorated Allied servicewomen of World War II. Known as the “White Mouse” for her uncanny ability to evade capture, she transitioned from a cosmopolitan journalist into a high-ranking courier for the French Resistance and, later, a spy in Britain's Special Operations Executive (SOE).

Her intelligence, military leadership, and personal skill and bravery made her a pivotal figure in covert Allied operations, particularly in the months leading up to and following the Allies’ D-Day invasion of Nazi occupied Europe.

Yet, throughout her struggle against pure evil, Nancy never forgot who she was fighting and why…
